Ravi Kumar Singh completed his Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) from International School of Business & Media (ISB&M), Kolkata Campus in 2011. He served as team leader at Convergys India Service Pvt Ltd. Presently, he is working with footwear gaint Bata India Ltd. As a curious individual, Ravi was always fascinated about Darwin theory of evolution i.e “Survival of the fittest”. However, his socially conscious mind questioned the theory and proposed to make the unfit, fit for the mutual co-existence and survival. So as to make this world more peaceful, happy and inclusive. He volunteered for many organisations, where he was actively involved in crowdfunding and event management. He is the key founder member of Sahyog The Helping Hand. He joined his hands with an aim to bridge the gap between the “fit and unfit”

Navjit Gaurav is a graduate in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal and a Tata Institute of Social Sciences gold medalist for his Master of Social Work in Disability Studies and Action. Ph.d from the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, Queen’s University, Canada. He strives to engage the rural Indian community through innovative participation measures, improving their quality of life, social integration for people with disabilities (PWDs), socially disadvantaged populace and making the society the best inclusive place to live. As a student social worker, he has worked with YWCA, Association of People with Disability, Inclusive Community-Based Rehabilitation, and I-Access Rights Mission. His research and work with I-Access has led to a policy change in higher education of Maharashtra for PWDs. One of the founder members of Sahyog-the Helping Hand, he was instrumental in improving access to free quality-education for school dropouts and women through the project “BAMBI.”,

Sumit Jain is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi. He has been a part of the social community since almost the last 15 years — he started as a volunteer with Kashi Utkarsh in BHU and led with his childhood friends to set up and run SAHYOG till today. He is fond of keeping things in structure and work in a process oriented manner. Through his extensive professional experiences from working in big companies as well as entrepreneurial experiences has made him a person of organised and rigorous approaches to accomplish a task in a targeted manner with data, impacts and results. He strongly believes in “being shapeless” – like water which has no color, caste, shape or religion and is powerful enough to create a big impact. With SAHYOG and its 5S mission, he expects everyone who is struggling in life to become shapeless”

Venkatesh Kanisetti is a graduate in architecture from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal and pursued Masters in Gandhi and Peace Studies. He is a Gandhian Scholar, who strongly believes in the idea of global peace and conflict resolution. He has immense passion towards teaching and social work, where he worked along with many premier organizations like Rotary International, Rotaract Club, Colorss Foundation. He also assisted and worked on various public projects for The Govt of India and few state governments like Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. He presented a couple of research papers in International conferences held at Bologna, Italy and IIT Roorkee. Rotary International conferred their prestigious “Youth Icon – 2016” Award on Venkatesh for his contributions towards society through education. The great social inclination led him to join SAHYOG to create an impact and make a difference in however small a way possible in the lives of downtrodden

Shweta Bansal is B.COM graduate from Hansraj Non-College and Master in Business Administration from IMT-CDL Gzb and also she studied LLB from Modern College of Law. It gives her immense knowledge / diversify her career opportunities. Currently she is practicing Advocate in Delhi. Being an Advocate her dream is to serve the nation by creating a safe and lawful environment through her legal practice. This quality encourages her to do social work. She has been into social work since her childhood since her mother is an active social worker and this motivates her to be a part of helping hands. Being a part of a social family when she got an offer to join Sahyog it was like a dream come true for her. She always wants to be a part of an NGO.She thinks that you don’t need time or the sources to support others, you just need a golden heart and the courage to do something good. “Either you can give Helping Hand to support others and make their life beautiful or you can end up with excuses.. “

Being from a marketing background, he has presented research papers in International conferences held at Delhi. He believes Money is not the only thing that gives you satisfaction, sometimes working for the society gives you more satisfaction. The mission of Sahyog :The Helping Hand which is “To Bring Opportunities To The Most Destitute And Economically Backward” has motivated him to join the organisation since the day it was founded.

Rasshmiee Gupta is graduate in BBA from ISB&M, Kolkata and pursued Masters in Business Administration from GITAM University, Bangalore. Presently, she is working with Jain University, Bengaluru as an Assistant Manager. She believes that there is no better expenditure of money than feeding a needy people and it’s really important for these people to stay and learn. She feels that the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. She has immense passion towards social work, where she has also worked with a NGO “Compassionate Clowns”, Bangalore. We are a bunch of people who love clowning around in hospitals to spread joy in the lives of others. Clowning could involve just making merry, being silly, singing goofy songs, dancing around, and shaping animals with balloons and so on. It also brings about connections and a sense of kinship and this is what keeps us going. She joined Sahyog through her college friends. As mentioned above she has keen intention towards Social work. And she is loving being the part of SAHYOG-THE HELPING HANDS.
